I often put the date stamp immediately after another text object or another stamp and the date box covers the first object so that it isn't selectable. When I use the stamp Custom Date its text box is much to big. Unfortunately "Fit box by text contents" isn't in the context menu. Resizing the box manually makes the date too small.
Is there another way to resize the box, please?

Well, those two are useful, thank you.
Current Date would be the better one but the format is wrong and illogical; Custom Date has the correct format but needs Enter pressed every time - OK, I'm lazy!

Thank you for the link; totally beyond my skills, and I'm using the free version.
In LibreOffice I can drop in today's date with Ctrl+; Something like that would do - doesn't have to be automagical.

Most useful would be that from Opera 12: R-button+scroll down to go to the right (next) tab; R-button+scroll up to go to the left (previous) tab.

I'll admit that when I first encountered PDF-Xchange I was put off by the name of the company. Some research on other sites and also reading the forums allayed my fears - any company that provides such detailed and rapid help doesn't seem to be malign!

It is easy to do from the File menu, but is a paid-for option. I generated a new document in Writer (can be done in Word, of course) then printed it to PDF. Just tried in WE: select all 3, move up a level, move back - no crash. BUT - can't reproduce the crash in XYplorer, so it's intermittent.

Having changed mine to those there have been no crashes, BUT I haven't done any work with multiple files from several folders yet.
It's also difficult to know when a negative is stable.

The website has a "printer-friendly" version that is pure text (well, enough formatting to structure to the table). It's 3-factor log-in, so I can't give you access to it. I don't know of a way of sending the 'raw' site - beyond my skill! In future I'll try pasting the table in to IrfanVie...

Just updated to 328 and the black areas are now white!

I tried to get 323.2 yesterday but it wasn't available via Update; it's now installed and the toolbar still isn't there.

Yes, I have the latest version.
Just noticed that the toolbar at the bottom of the window is missing - it's the one with the page numbers etc. on it. Selecting/deselecting various bars has no effect. If it's the Navigation bar, I don't know where it is when it is selected.

I'd like to be able to set max/min width for tabs. In my browsers I have tabs set to 100/100 so that they're all the same width. There's enough of the name showing to ID it and also float-over info of the whole name.
