Short note about PDFsession utility:
It searches for 'PDFXCview.exe' in current directory (useful for portable Viewer - PDFsession.exe should be copied into the same folder as viewer) or via windows registry (Key=HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tracker Software\PDFviewer\InstallPath)

SES extension used because I don't want to start PDFsession by double click on other TXT files.
I have SES extension registered with PDFsession utility.

Search not work for SECURED files. (Select text, right click, search by, provider). When right click, text properties then text and button 'copy to clipboard' is grayed out (disabled, of course) but it should not prevent searching on web.
Is it right?

In Print dialog -> Print Special -> Comments and Forms - select 'Document and Markups' from drop down list.

PDF-XChange Viewer send text to printer as set of curves, not as characters, so result is not searchable for text.

If so, can you please open any PDF file causing problems (let say 'source.pdf') in both XChange/Adobe and print it to this printer to files 'targetadobe.pdf' and 'targetxchange.pdf' and post it here? This can be also helpful.

Remark to help file - as you told size is now doubled. If you want (this is not request) you can reduce it by using images with reduced size (75%) like in previous version.

During installation final build 39 over existing RC2 were files LiveUpdate.exe and ISTask.dll not updated with new versions. In program directory stay files with timestamp from 30.06.2008.

It was already discussed on forum. This file is in new PDF format, contains collection of pdf and media files. This format is not yet supported by PDF-XChange Viewer. You need Adobe Viewer 8 or 9.

It's strange, please check also your plugins in firefox - is Adobe Acrobat plugin disabled? Do You have some another PDF related plugin installed/enabled?

Current version is Release Candidate 2 of the build 39 (see [RC2] in about box).
Final release of the build 39 is promissed to be available on Monday, 18.
If the guys in Tracker will continue in their good job, then build 40 will be available in next 4-6 weeks
after build 39.
