Re: Changing paper size

Hello Stefan,

The driver information I have been refering to is the driver for my physical printer (a Xerox WorkCentre).
Are you asking me to download the latest PDF-XChange Pro version?
If yes, will it work with my current Serial Key?

Re: Changing paper size

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

I checked for the latest driver and it is what I have (5.246.7).
If there is anything you need, please let me know.

Thanks.

Re: Changing paper size

Viewer updated. "Choose paper source by PDF-page size" unchecked. No difference. The paper size I am trying to print to is "11 x 17" and not "11 x 18" as stated in my original post. I tried other documents with the Xerox WorkCentre drivers and got the same issue. I cannot size up for this driver. On...

Changing paper size

I am having trouble changing an A4 document to print on an 11 x 18 paper size for the printers listed below. To produce the issue, create a new A4 document (it can be blank) in the viewer and press Ctrl+P. The preview screen shows the A4 paper size but if I go to the Properties page for my printer a...

Re: Rectangle Link Tool

Thanks. I just ran the "Check for updates" (under Help). If you look at the attached file, you will see that the results are "No update required". I will be going from build 41.4 to 42.3. Why didn't the "Check for update" recognize that there is a new build available? Does it only check for major re...

Re: Rectangle Link Tool

Chris, I have attached a file for your use. It has two pages. By clicking on "Go to page 2.", the link jumps you to page 2 (and vice versa). When you click on it, the text becomes inverted (white text on a black background). Select the "Rectangle Link Tool" from the toolbar. Click either of the link...

Rectangle Link Tool

My version of the viewer is 2.0 build 41.4.

My default setting for the Link tool is "Invert".

After using the tool, I can change its property to "None".
It seems to work as expected.
I save the file and open it again.
The link changes back to "Invert".

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, those are the links I was talking about.
Do you want me to check the others?

Multi-user Pack

I have been using TIFF-Xchange for quite awhile and I have finally been able to get the company to order it for my co-workers. We are going to purchase one of your multi-user packages. Will the software get loaded on each computer with its own license key or will it run from the network? Apparently,...

Hi,

In my preferences, I have the directory path filled in but "Asc for name" checked.
It always goes to that directory and prompts for a file name.
This is exactly what I want. If it is a bug, please DON'T fix it.

Filename capture for version 3

I have another problem with filenames being captured.
Any MS Excel file that has a dash (-) in the filename gets captured wrong.
The characters up to and including the first dash are dropped (ex: ABC-123.xls becomes 123.tif).
My driver version is 3.20.317.0 downloaded on 17-June-2005.

Filenames in Version 3

I have "Ask for filename..." checked for my save option.
When I print the file the name defaults to ".tif".
How come it does not "capture" the document name I am printing?
I tried with several applications and I get the same results.
My driver version is 3.20.315.0 which I downloaded on 14-June-2005.

TIFF-XChange Upgrade (V2 to V3)

It is time for me to upgrade to version 3 but your web page doesn't have any special pricing for upgrades.
Do I have to buy a new version to go from version 2 to version 3?
Thanks.

The application I am using is Cadra (it's like Autocad, only better).
My OS is Windows 2000 Pro.
I will try to duplicate the problem in another application.
If I have any luck, I will let you know.
Thanks.

Paper orientation

I have version 2. Has anyone had a problem with the orientation of the paper when printing? Changing between landscape and portrait, the output is the same. The only way I have been able to get it to work is to create a custom sheet. I am trying to print an ANSI B size in landscape but I keep gettin...

Document name truncation

Tiff X-Change 2.0 I am trying to print a file with a name that includes a dash "-" (ex. 123456-D.CAD). Tiff X-Change removes the text up to and including the dash (ex. D.tif). This happens when I have the "Asc for File Name ..." turned on or when I use the "Predefined name ..." (%[Doc Name]) option....
