Scratch this I think Looks like I have found the error - very strange It is a hidden background timer form being printed instead of the selected form despite the fact that it is actually hidden - no idea why it happens with the PDF routine and not the hardcopy given the code is identical but there y...

Have aleady tried this setting so no help I am afraid However not sure how this setting would create corruption although I can see how it would cause print jobs to be done out of sequence if it is set on in a multithreaded environment. My understanding is that this setting is overidden by "Start pri...

PDF File corruption in Access MDE

I appear to have a print corruption problem with the pdfxchange driver The application is a compiled access mde which prints a series of reports/forms in sequence to the pdf xchange driver. Approx 75% of the time one or more of the individul pdf files is incomplete. It appears random as to which one...

AddLink to another page

In acrobat it is possible to create a hotspot which when clicked on will take you to a web page or open another file or take you to another page in the document. I can see the function PXCp_AddLink but that appears to only have the option for a url ie web page. How do I set a link to another page in...

Using xcpro35.dll with vba

Do you have any examples of merging files in vba?
Or any other functions using xcpro35.dll

I have tried registering the function PXCp_Init but no mater where I put the file xcpro35.dll it comes back with an error saying "File not found:xcpro35.dll"

Ive seen these examples but they are for a single print. Given that it appears that the name is picked off as it comes off the spooler and not into it I will suspect that I will run into the same problems I have when I write the settings directly into the registry in that I get ahead off the PDF Cre...

Spoolmultiple access reports

I am trying to create a single PDF file from 40 individual Access reports. I understand how to merge the 40 resultant pdfs ok but I cannot create them in the first place. Do you have any example code showing howi to spool multiple files under access vba given that you recomend not using mesaging due...

Thanks for the quick response - sorry about the long post 5) Re PDFSaver there are some notes in the SDK that you cannot hide the progress bar if PDFaver is already running - HAving looked at it more closely it would appear that this program is loaded the first time it is needed then by default left...

Questions from a newbie

Hi I am evaluating PDF-XCHANGE to convert Access reports into PDFS and merge them. I have been looking at the Printer Driver API & the Tools SDK and have a few questions:- 1) Is there any other documentation other than the supplied CHM files 2) there has been reference to install instructions with r...
