Dragging to explorer
I love the feature where we can drag a page from the thumbnails list to explorer to create a new pdf document, but I would love to be able to change the name that is used for the new file. Instead of "Page X from sourcedoc.pdf" I would prefer something like "Sourcedoc - x.pdf". I...

Re: Portfolio Document Preview
Thank you very much, Daniel. I understand the underlying structure better now, that's great. My suggestion in that case would be related to the user interface. When a portfolio is opened in Acrobat Reader DC, the initial interface is the same as Editor, but the difference is that when I click on a m...

Portfolio Document Preview
Hello all, When I create a pdf portfolio from Outlook, it's successful, but upon open in Editor, there is a cover page where I would expect a preview to be located. To view a pdf within the portfolio I need to open it in a new window. Is there a way to preview pdfs to avoid opening a new window for ...

Re: Resizing in same manner as print SOLVED
PHK, thank you very much! It hadn't occurred to me to check the comments menu. This works perfectly. Flatten then resize. A bit of a follow-up - is there a way to create a button that will flatten and resize in one step? Some sort of macro in Editor. I know it can be done with tools, but I don't wan...

Resizing in same manner as print SOLVED
I'm looking for some help with resizing pages. Here is the scenario: One pdf is produced in a different app which contains both legal and letter pages. Some of those documents are actually forms that have been filled-in. When I use the resize option in Editor, the alignment of the form field entries...

Open PDF in editor from browser plug-in
Is there a button I can add to the in-browser plugin interface that will open the PDF in the editor application?

Just a thank you.
I didn't see a more appropriate place to put this. I just recently discovered your software, and I want to say that it's fantastic. Every time I need to do something with a pdf, not only does it do it, it does it better than any other solution I've tried. Kudos to all of you and thanks.

Re: Monitors and Choose Input Files
I figured it out. I didn't notice that the rename step in my tool was prompting the user and since interaction was disabled, the flow was failing.
Now I'm facing a loop! Is there a way to tell the monitor to ignore the file already processed or do I need to move it to another folder?

Monitors and Choose Input Files
I've created a custom tool. I've set-up a folder monitor. But how do I get the tool to run on files that have been identified by the monitor? Each works on its own, but when I add a file to the folder, it doesn't run the tool. I know the monitor is working, because it moves the file. The tool works ...

Re: e-mail with attachement to pdf
Thanks for the quick reply!
What I meant by industry standards was whether other applications could extract the attachment.
Let’s say we move to macs in 10 years. Or your company shuts down and the software won’t run anymore. Is there a way to access the attachments?

Re: e-mail with attachement to pdf
Are the attachments some form of industry standard?
Is there a way to separate the attachments out afterwards? Or a setting to simply save the attachments in the same folder where the conversion is targetted?
