Yes there is a limit to how many activations each User License has. Each User License can be activated on one desktop system and one laptop or tablet (a maximum of 2 devices per User).

The situation that you are experiencing is due to a function that has most likely been accidently engaged called 'thin lines'.

You can deselect this under the View Tab, and deselecting 'thin lines'.
