At the moment, we are even considering rolling back to PdfXChange Editor 9.1 (SDK).

It would be helpful if we knew an approximate date when this issue should be fixed.

Just to clarify: I see the same behaviour no matter what I use (ordinary PdfXChange-Editor or the embedded PdfXChange-Editor using the SDK). That is why I originally posted this in the end user forum.

Another maybe important information is that the number of GDI objects keeps rising, when displaying new PDFs.
