Re: Auto-hide Bookmarks pane when empty?
Thank you. I think I understand what you mean. If it makes it any simpler, my suggestion was really only about the initial view when opening a file. It doesn't have to affect much else. The user would still be able to toggle the Bookmarks pane. So, crudely put, if the optional "auto-hide" ...

Auto-hide Bookmarks pane when empty?
Bookmarks are useful and thus the Bookmarks pane is often used and kept enabled/visible. However, many PDF files do not have any Bookmarks and the empty pane still appears, taking space and requiring extra steps to close. It would be helpful if there was an option to only display the Bookmarks pane ...

Image To PDF Options: quality presets?
Hello everyone, These settings can often become daunting and the resulting quality/file size can greatly vary. Would you consider adding some quality-related presets there and/or allow User Presets? It would greatly improve workflow. These Presets would affect the Image Processing and Image Compress...

Re: How to disable thumbnail previews? SOLVED
Thank you, it worked. However, it seems that after every PDF-XChange Editor update that Thumbnail Handlers setting is being reset back to PDF X-Change. So, the thumbnails are back and this process needs to be repeated each time. Perhaps you could make it remember its previous setting, even if Shell ...

How to disable thumbnail previews? SOLVED
Hello, I've recently reinstalled PDF-XChange Editor (Windows 10), this time with Shell Extensions enabled. I wanted to allow Directory Opus to quickly show PDF previews, and it worked fine. Problem is that I do not want the Explorer thumbnail previews on PDF icons, mostly visible on the Desktop icon...

Export to Image(s): Destination Folder: same as Source option SOLVED
Title describes it clearly. Also, please add this option if it's also missing in other areas of PDF-Xchange Editor.

Re: "Hide close button for inactive..." option
Thank you. The Middle Click alternative is helpful but I've set it to act as Double Click... helps a lot to reduce clicking.
About "Shrink document tabs" (which is really an unimportant issue - just thought I should mention it), it doesn't seem to make any difference:

"Hide close button for inactive..." option
Thanks for these new options. About "Hide close (x) button for all inactive tabs (documents and panes)" : When enabled, it would be helpful to have the option to show the x button on mouse hover. Currently, at least two clicks are required to close an inactive tab, because it first needs t...

Re: Horrible V7 switches to ribbon and destroys GUI customizations SOLVED
You are right, I didn't pay enough attention and thought you were only complaining about the Ribbon interface which in itself would be totally understandable, many nice interfaces have been ruined this way. It'd be sad to see this happen here, too. However, I think you're being a bit unfair to the d...

Scrollbar width
Hello everyone and many thanks for the wonderful Editor! Windows 10 has reduced the width of the scrollbars, making them uncomfortable to use for some people/configurations. They've also removed the relevant customization options but it is possible to change them via registry settings, and thus wide...
