Linebase is not straight
Hi, I have an old pdf document which opened with PDF-XChange Editor 7.0.328.2 shows an uneven baseline for text, but when opened with SumatraPDF 3.1.2 everything is fine. This occurs independent of zoom. 2019-04-10 - XCE7.png 2019-04-10 - Sumatra.png 2019-04-10 - Dokumenteigenschaften.png I can send...

Re: Switch tabs by CTRL+PgUp / CTRL+PgDown
Hey,
thanks for the suggestion. Now as you tell it, I can remember the CTRL+[ shortcuts.
I'm not used to them anymore for a long time now as I'm living in Germany now which has a different keyboard layout...
However, CTRL + Numblock is a good solution for me!

Re: Switch tabs by CTRL+PgUp / CTRL+PgDown
Hey Stefan, thank you for your fast, competent answer. Hm, that's unfortunate. I've never been a fan of those TAB+modifier shortcuts as they are hard to grip. Since I broke my left hand four years ago it's almost impossible by now (stiff pinkie). Best I can do is CTRL+SHIFT+A :-) So I switched to CT...

Switch tabs by CTRL+PgUp / CTRL+PgDown
Hi! I got the same problem as this guy . I wanted to be able to switch tabs by CTRL+PgUp / CTRL+PgDown as it is a shortcut I am used to (e.g. from Firefox or Notepad++). I couldn't find the "Next/Previous Document" commands at first because they don't show up in the search for "Tab&qu...

Re: How to import settings in V7?
@pedro Can't really help you here, but tell you my story. By now I ended up with a more radical solution: No more icons / ribbons. Just the classic small text-based menu. I often couldn't tell the functions / icons apart and was too lazy customizing everything again. As vertical space is the most va...

Re: How to import settings in V7?
Yeah, no worries, I'm cool with that. I just put most configuration time into customizing the toolbars to make them slim and only show my most needed tools and buttons. As an enduser, the things you mostly notice are the UI changes, although programmers might have done a lot "behind the curtain...

Re: How to import settings in V7?
export your settings/customizations of PDF-XChange Editor V6 BEFORE migrating to PDF-XChange Editor V7 I did that. Still after import, it looked a lot different. Maybe I can provide comparing screenshots later. This means that (correctly) importing your old V6 settings/customizations in V7 is NOT Y...

How to import settings in V7?
Hi! I just updated from v6 to v7, read the changelog before which says Introduced the new Ribbon UI, with the option to switch back to Classic UI as desired. WARNING: when you migrate from V6 to V7 - you will LOSE(!) any existing toolbar customization. Please export your settings to an external file...

Re: Page zoom according to orientation
Well than see it as idea for future features ;-) Nevertheless, thank you for your informative response! Another solution could be customizable shortcuts. ctrl+0 or ctrl+1 is quite uncomfortable for me. Also selecting the hand tool with H and the text tool with T would be convenient in my opinion. Gr...

Page zoom according to orientation
Hey guys, 99% of my pdfs are about DIN A4 size. Either landscape (mostly presentations) or portrait (scientific papers). I use page layout: single page forced. Is it somehow possible to fit the zoom of all landscape pdfs according to their height (so scrolling will immediately change page --> fit pa...
