Word add-in thinks my copy is unlicensed

Windows 7 32-bit PDF-Xchange Editor Pro 8.0 build 331.0 Did the "complete install' of all features. Microsoft Office 2016 I have had PDF-XChange Pro licensed & installed for 8+ years. Today, I tried to create pdf from within Windows Word 2016. Creation went as usual, but when I opened the p...

Re: Lost plug-in on Office 2007 SOLVED

Thanks for the quick reply but it didn't correct problem. I'm familiar with regedit (not the serious workings but basic editing). I deleted Tracker Software keys in both areas as noted, "Program Files" branches for "Tracker Software" with restarts as noted but no change after rei...

Re: Lost plug-in on Office 2007 SOLVED

I didn't want to overlook the obvious so I tried both REPAIR and a full UNINSTALL-REINSTALL before making my original post. For my re-install, I even logged in and did a fresh download of the application just in case something in the original might have got corrupted. In Office, the add-ins show up ...

Lost plug-in on Office 2007 SOLVED

Have Microsoft Office 2007 on OLD laptop running 32-bit Win 7. I had to do a reinstall of PDF-XChange PRO (now Ver 7.0.323.7) and now have lost the PDF selection at end of Menu Bar at top of screen in all my Office 2007 applications. If I go into Word Options, Add-Ins, COM Add-Ins I've verified the ...

Re: Automatic and manual "check for updates" fails

After trying several times, the only options I am able to get in the pull-down menu are the following:
Restore (Greyed Out)
Move
Size
Minimize
Maximize
Close (Alt+F4)

Re: Automatic and manual "check for updates" fails

Radi, Thanks for the reply. I added the registry patch as you directed. However, immediately when when I get the time-out error, the "Tracker Updater" window disappears and I'm only able to close the window that says: PDF-XChange Editor < Window Title ! Check for updates timed out. Please ...

Re: Automatic and manual "check for updates" fails

As an easy test, I temporarily disabled both my Antivirus (Avast) and firewall (native Windows 7).
Same results.
After "checking" for about 30 seconds it times out and says to try again later.
Currently, no issues whatsoever with any other apps.

Automatic and manual "check for updates" fails

For over a month, when I manually check for updates it will time out after about 45 seconds and say to "try later". If I manually verify an update is available, I can manually download the new versions and successfully install with my key. However, this gets cumbersome. Why does the automa...

Convert pdf to Word *.doc or *.docx

I have V6 of both PDF X-Change Editor-Pro and PDF-Tools (both are Version 6.0 Build 317.0)
Using either, is it possible to convert a pdf into a Microsoft Word Document?
Either a *.doc or *.docx would be ideal.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
