Re: PDF's not opening at all

Okay, I tried another software. It was good -- but, the free PDFXchange is the superior product.

So, I'm back.

I tried the "fix" above (i. e., deleting Temp file); and, it worked.

Thanks!

PDF's not opening at all

I'm using PDF-Xchange Editor 7.0 (Build 326.1). PDF's will not open. Instead, I get the following error message: Error [PXVLib]: Unsupported File Format . This happened previously. So, I uninstalled and re-installed the program. Everything was working fine (i. e., PDF's were opening normally) until ...

Hello mwidunn, if you switch that checkbox - do the watermarks appear? Regards, Stefan Dear Stefan, Let us take one thing at a time! Could you, please, address my other issue first? I have remove my key and enabled «Hide all licensed features from toolbars and menus». There are licensed features in the classic menus. Ribbon UI working fine. Re: How do I batch comment?

It seems that you are using free version of Editor with «Hide all licensed features from toolbars and menus» option enabled .... Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm using PDF XChange 0.7.0323.1 (free). That shouldn't matter, though, since previously (i. e., in V6) any of the "paid-for" functions was eit...

Re: How do I batch comment?

UPDATE: I tried re-setting the commands in the Ribbon UI and . . . nothing happened. "Watermark" still does not appear under "Organize." I did try switching back to the "Classic View." The "Watermark" option does indeed appear (as you say) under "Documents." When I hover over it, though, a blank box...

Thanks for the reply. I am not finding any "Watermark" option under the Organize Tab. I also do not see a Watermark command when I open the "Customize Toolbars" box. Re: How do I batch comment?

Dear Stefan, Thanks for the response. The files lengths might vary: Some might be only 1 page; some, 2 or more. On a side issue: Even in the same document file, I don't know how I would make the same comment appear. Let's say, for example, a copyright notification. So, I guess, I have 2 issues: (1) ...

How do I batch comment?

I'm running PDF Xchange 0.7.0.323.0.

Let's say I had 50 PDF's open and want to place the same text on each.

Is there any way to "batch" or multiple this process, so that I would only have to add the text once, while it would be saved to all open documents?

Thank you.

PDF XChange 7: What were they thinking?

I've just installed 7.0.323.0 . . . and, it sucks! Let's ignore the fact that Tracker is just (!) rolling out a "ribbon" user interface a decade after it was "cool." Not that that's a good thing: I'm using Office 2007 and still don't particularly care for it. The major problem is: It doesn't work! Y...

I'll have to buy it, though, since I don't want the watermark.

This happened to me quite often too. You can go to: "Edit" / "Preferences" / "Documents" and select "Restore last session when application starts" This works perfectly for me but I would also like to have the option to restore a single Tab - like it is possible in Firefox for instance. HaPe Thanks....

I'm using PDF-X Editor 6.0. I had a few tabs open for a few days for important documents which I was working on. Problem trying to delete/manage search providers

I go: PREFERENCES > CATEGORIES > SEARCH PROVIDERS. I select one of the Search Providers which I'd like to remove. (Let's say: Yahoo.) I click on: REMOVE. A box pops up saying: "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE DEFINITION OF THIS SEARCH PROVIDER? OPERATION CANNOT BE UNDONE." I click: YES. Then, I clic...
