Re: Can't restore All Hidden toolbars / menus
Your answer sounds right. I kinda thought there was a key combo involved. I probably fat fingered Ctrl + 0, and hit Ctrl + F8. This might help some others, since I'm probably not the only one to do that. Thanks.

Can't restore All Hidden toolbars / menus
I have a Surface, which I use docked with an external keyboard. I have had 2 occasions over the last month, where all my menus completely vanish while I'm using the Surface keyboard undocked. The Surface keyboard has a function lock which I'm not used to using, so I probably hit F8 inadvertently. Th...

I'm having the same problem. I'm not sure where to find the Action Type ComboBox referred to in the solution.

Force Print to text from web browser
I frequently print to pdf from my web browser, usually Chrome. I noticed in a post that "Chrome tends to send a raster image to the printer." Is there a way to force Chrome & PDF XChange Standard printer to always output to text? After testing print options, I found that using 'Save as...

Re: Save As defaults
I assume you mean what I'm seeing in Word? On the left it looks similar to Editor but to the right of "Recent","Add a Place" & "Browse" you have the current file name and folder location.

Save As defaults
I frequently use the Save As feature in Editor. In Microsoft Word when you select Save As, the window shows the existing file name and current folder location; from there just edit the name and hit enter. Done. Almost all the programs I've ever used display the folder where the file was opened from ...

Re: Convert to pdf shell extension
Thanks for the quick reply. Glad to hear about inclusion of the shell extension. I read about the issues with b318 while researching for my post. How does the shell extension get installed, is it an option on the main setup screen?

Convert to pdf shell extension
I often create pdf's from scanned images (after the fact). I use a shell extension in Acrobat that allows you to "Convert to Pdf" or "Combine files" with a right-click on one or more files from Windows Explorer. This is a huge time saver. Can this be done in any of the Tracker of...
